Great quote. When change is happening all around you and you stubbornly choose to stay put, that’s exactly what you’ll do. Stay put. Onward!

  2. Change was always such a hard thing for me to cope with (I’m a very lineal person) but as I’ve come to accept the fact that change happens regardless, I now find that embracing it (gently) makes life a lot smoother and a lot less stressful!

Gotta embrace it. Don’t always like it, but definitely embrace it. I moved halfway around the world for a change … still not sure if I fully liked me it 10 years later.

  4. great read!!! we as people buck change, but it is the best thing for us…and change does happen every day to us whether we realize it or not and most times…after awhile….we realize..omg…should have done this years ago or that this was the best thing for us!! thank you for reminder!

  5. Even if you hate change, growth is the only way to make something good come from it…
(Or that’s what I tell myself, anyhow!)

  6. hmmmm not really sure. I would like to think that I embrace change… but probably only so long as it was of my choosing to be honest. Sometimes I get to be dragged kicking and screaming into the new now. My kids have made choices and changes that haven’t been what I would have chosen for them… and sometimes whilst I have never rejected them and have tried to lovingly accept their choices I haven’t always been happy.. But then I love them and they have continued to love me so guess I must have worked it out somehow

  7. True, change is happening every day all around us. We need to embrace it for it helps us to step out of our comfort zone. And when we do that, it paves the path for our growth and development.

  9. I do resent some changes, but nowhere near all. I mostly bemoan what I see as negative changes, like when so many people make grammatical errors, the dictionary eventually validates such goofs by imposing new rules that allow those mistakes. Examples? “Literally” can now mean either “literally” or “figuratively.” And “imply” and “infer” can be used interchangeably. “

  10. Change should be taught to everyone at an early age. So many people bemoan any little change in their lives. I feel so sorry for them. They’re stuck in a little world and miss so many wonderful things the world has to offer.
I embrace change. It’s inevitable, why fight it?

  11. I changed careers just as I was turning forty. There were some traumatic moments, but all things considered, it has worked out very well, as I look back, over twenty years.
