For this year’s A-Z Challenge, I am doing the A-Z of some of my favourite Christmas decorations. I love Christmas and I’ve debated this theme before, and this year I am finally doing it.

Today is day twelve where L equals lamppost and lantern.

If you were here for letter E, you might remember me saying my elf on the self sits on top of a lamppost and that it would be featured on L day. This is that lamppost. It sits in my sitting room.

This isn’t the best photo of my little lantern because I had already taken the batteries out when I took it. It lights up and has like a snow globe effect with glitter swirling around it. It sits on a little table in my sitting room.
Do you have a favourite Christmas ornament starting with L? Let me know in the comments š

You’ve got lots of interesting Christmas pieces.
I love your lanterns. I just think of lights. I love lights on the tree. I have multi coloured lights but I love the basic white or anything. I have some gold ornaments where I can take a light from the tree and place it in the hole made for that.
Your lanterns are cute!
I have a llama from Bolivia, made of reeds from Lake Titicaca. I bought it on my travels, and thought it would be just the right size for the Christmas tree. I suppose it’s no more than four inches high, and already on a long string!
