For this year’s A-Z Challenge, I am doing the A-Z of some of my favourite Christmas decorations. I love Christmas and I’ve debated this theme before, and this year I am finally doing it.
Today is day sixteen where P equals post box.
I love this traditional red post box and it goes on one of my Christmas coffee tables in the sitting room.

I love the Birdy on top. The Post office is suffering these days because of people using e-cards. I have an ornament, my mom made, with a poinsettia in the goose egg which she made from bread dough.
Yes, I use ecards a lot. But I have some old friends and family who still get cards with a more personal note.
And my favourite ornament… photo plaques. I have these for each of my gorgeous guinea pigs, although the new pair havent got one yet (supplier change). It’s a poignant moment as I take each of them out and hang them on the tree, but it is a memory i want to keep alive.
