It won’t do justice to all the books that I have read, if I select my favourite. Every book tells a different story and that touches me.

Another difficult question, I honestly don’t think I have a favourite but I think that Pretending to Dance by Diane Chamberlain would probably win because I actually heard her read from it in person

My favourite is 1984 as it is the only book where I was so engrossed that I physically jumped in surprise at one point

Massive Chris Carter fan, so my favourite book is The Night Stalker written by him. I was lucky enough to get a copy signed last Valentines’ Day.

My all-time favourite book is actually 4 books, The Alexandria Quartet by Lawrence Durrell. The 1st book, Justine, is a love story set in pre-war Alexandria. Then in the 2nd & 3rd books, the same story is told again, from different characters’ perspectives, and we realise that the story in the first book was quite different from what it seemed. The 4th book takes place afterwards and ties everything together so we see the full picture. I have re-read several times and find something new each time.
