The Top Ten Books I Read In 2017

It’s fair to say I read a lot of books (that’s the understatement of the decade) and choosing just ten of my favourites from last year was hard.

Oh I love 1984! I haven’t read it for absolutely ages so I may pick that back up again. I really enjoyed Eeny meeny; such a great easy read. I’ve recently read Behind her Eyes by Sarah Oinborough which I really enjoyed. Another one I read over Christmas was The Marriage pact by Michelle Richmond but I didn’t enjoy the ending. I haven’t seen THE foster child so will check this out! Thanks for the list. #anythinggoes

Wow, I haven’t read any of these… I got 4 new books for Christmas. Oce I have read them I may need to return to this list! #AnythingGoes

  3. Can’t really find the time for reading novels these days… But still want to read 1984. It’s a classic and I know the outlines but haven’t read it myself. My hubby loved it when he read it some years ago, and he’s not a great book lover so it must be quite special 📖☺️

Ohhh I think I might have a read of About Last Night. I haven’t read a good book for years #BloggerClubUK

  5. A Mum Track Mind

One of my NY resolutions is to read more! I barely make it through one book a month at the moment because I don’t make time for it. This list gives me a bit of motivation #bloggerclub

  6. What a fantastic selection – one of my favourite authors of all time is Jodi Picoult, so I want to read more of her books in 2018 🙂 #BloggerClubUK

  7. Not ashamed to admit that I am more a romance reader. All these books would make me too scared to sleep knowing me Haha! I’m guessing you have a favourite genre!

  8. I’m ashamed to say I hardly read anything at all last year. Maybe I should have a new year resolution to try to get through a few more books this year. Thanks for the inspiration! #bloggerclubuk

  9. The Tale of Mummyhood/Salubrious Place

I’ve made it my mission to read one book a month throughout 2018, so far I’ve read two so I’m a little ahead of myself! I’ll definitely be adding a few of these to my reading list! #bloggerclubuk

  10. Mum OverRun. Sarah Aslett

The one I’ve read of these is 1984 and this has reminded me that I’d like to read it again actually! Having said that I’m quite into audio books at the moment – I seem to have more time for them #BloggerClubUK

Thank you so much for sharing these with us… The Ritual looks like something I may actually give a try 😀

  12. I am interested in Eve & Adam. That sounds very interesting! Right now I am finishing up a book called The Historian and will be writing a review on it in a couple of weeks. After that I plan to read Three Sisters, Three Queens by Philippa Gregory. She’s one of my favorite authors. Now I have another book to read though. Thanks Debbie:) #anythinggoes

  13. Kim - Raising a Ragamuffin

I remember reading 1984 in school and not enjoying it, but I’ve re-read a few other books from school as an adult and really enjoyed them so I might give it another go when I get time. I’ve got quite a long reading list myself for this year. #BloggerClubUK

  14. I’ve only read the Adele Parks out of these! I don’t manage to read anywhere near as much as I used to. I need to make more time for it #bloggerclubuk
