April is here again and it’s time for this year’s A to Z Challenge. This year, my theme is motivational quotes. Each 
Monday to Saturday throughout April I will be posting a motivational quote each day starting with the letters A through to Z.
It’s traditional through the challenge to keep posts short and sweet, so that’s what I’ll be doing. Just a quick explanation of why I chose each quote and what it means to me.
Day 7 – G
“Get started today because the only person stopping you is you and the only person who will lose out is you”
How many times have you sat there and thought about what you really want out of life? You may have gone as far as to start thinking about exactly how you can get it. And then that’s it. You sigh longingly and go back to the drudgery of a life you don’t enjoy – a job you don’t love.
The hardest part of making the change and living the life you want to live is actually starting. And the longer you put off starting, the harder it becomes to do it. So don’t wait until tomorrow, because although it’s a cliché, it’s true that tomorrow never comes.
Start today. Right now. Even if it’s something small. Take that first step towards changing your life. Once you do, there will be no stopping you!

Yes, getting started is the hardest part. I’m trying to do that with a regular workout routine. Always some reason to put it off. LOL

This was the best advice I received when working on my thesis. A student who had already finished told me that the real challenge wasn’t intellectual, but personal. Whatever got in my in life, would also block my attempt to complete the thesis. He was right, and knowing it helped me navigate. Another great quote.
That’s so true – I think for a thesis it’s harder to actually start than it is to keep going!
This so much. I try to not procrastinate on things. Sometimes, I find it helps letting myself procrastinate for a few seconds then get to what I need to get done. Really helped with my productivity.
If it works for you then great – I don’t think I’d have the discipline to stop if I let myself start though lol
