I know I say this every month, but oh my god – it’s August already? How has this happened?
You know, I still catch my
self saying “Once the year gets started properly, I’ll do XYZ”. I think it’s fair to say the year has started properly considering it’s more than half way over.
And now the kids have broken up for the summer, it won’t be long until Christmas (sorry).
Anyway, enough rambling on about time flying, it shows my age too much. Instead, lets talk about what’s happening on the blog in August.
August’s theme is Writing – I hope to cover a wide range of writing related topics from how to make money writing, through to how to get started on your first novel.

It is truly frightening how fast this summer is going. Today I dated something July 8th before realizing it was August–yipes!
