I have actually finished all of the books from April’s reading list on time this month, but due to taking part in the A to Z challenge, I have only posted two of the reviews so far, but don’t worry, I’ll be catching up on my reviews across this month.
I also have a book review to go live of a book that wasn’t on my reading list, Geek Girl: Head Over Heels by Holly Smale, so stay tuned for that one too.
I’m almost finished reading it so I’m expecting to get this one out on Sunday. So far, I’m really enjoying it, as I did the last book in the Geek Girl series too.
May’s Reading List
The “Gone” series by Michael Grant. This is a series of six YA books. It’s central idea is that one day, everyone 15 and over just disappear from the world, and the series tells the story of what happens after this event. I remember reading William’s Goldings Lord of the Flies and loving it, and I think this book is going to have a similar feel to it.
Inside Alcatraz: My Time On The Rock by Jim Quillen is a true life account of being imprisoned in the infamous Alcatraz. I love jail memoirs so I’m really looking forward to getting started on this one.
I’m determined to make the time to read and keep up with my reading list this month. There’s really no excuses if I don’t now I’ve gotten all caught up on last month’s reading.
What books are you reading this month? If you could recommend one or two books to someone which ones would you choose and why? Let me know in the comments 🙂
