Welcome to week 3 of my thought of the week!
We say the world is full of ugly things like hatred and violence. While this is true I still believe the world, and the majority of it’s people, are beautiful.
Sometimes, you just have to look a little harder. Sometimes you need to adjust your perspective on what is beautiful.
I believe that there is beauty all around us in nature, and learning to notice and appreciate these little everyday beauties can make us see that the world isn’t so bad after all.
I think this quote nicely sums up that idea:
“View the world with fresh eyes, there is so much beauty out there if you only look for it!”

I think sometimes we become so familiar with our own surroundings and environment that in a way we become immune or oblivious to the beauty around us. This is a really good reminder that we need to make a concerted effort to really SEE what is around us and the more we see, the more the beauty of our ‘everyday’ will shine through.
I agree, we take our surroundings for granted, and often in the routine of life, we fail to really see what is around it, it becomes the visual equivalent of background noise.
That is a great quote and good to remind ourselves of on occasion. In everyday life it is so easy to get caught up in the little things that are inconsequential. You have applied this to the natural environment, but I also see that it has relevance for my family life too. #Sharethejoy

Great quote. I think there is beauty everywhere, and when we force ourselves to look for it we ae forced to look for the good, the bad has no place in this search. Continually focusing on the good brings more good. That’s priceless!
