For this year’s A-Z Challenge, I am doing the A-Z of some of my favourite Christmas decorations. I love Christmas and I’ve debated this theme before, and this year I am finally doing it.
Today is day nineteen where S equals snow.
I’ve cheated a little bit with the photo for today’s letter. Normally when i put my Christmas decorations up, every surface of my coffee tables, TB stand, display unit etc is covered in cotton wool and made to look like snowy villages. Last Christmas, I was so busy throughout December that my decorations went up really late and to be honest, it seemed like a whole lot of work for such a short time so I didn’t do the snow effect. I do love it when I do though.

I do love snow. I know, I’m weird but, not now, we need warmer weather:) snow is a must but I love anything with sparkles. Sparkles are a must!

I’m not into artificial snow, even of the cotton wool type. But I do love a star at the top of the tree.
I had the one from my family tree (see T) that I used every year for the last twenty years… until 3 Christmases ago – I couldnt find it. I looked everywhere, right through the box of wrapped up baubles, under the sofa, … you name it.
Same happened in 2024. Desolate.
Last Christmas I found it. Wrapped in its paper, in the same box as all the other baubles… I have no idea… maybe it had a holiday with Santa?
