For this year’s A-Z Challenge, I am doing the A-Z of some of my favourite Christmas decorations. I love Christmas and I’ve debated this theme before, and this year I am finally doing it.
Today is day one where A equals angels.
This angel in a bauble was made for me by my auntie as a tribute to my late mam. The inside has fairy lights that light up too.
This angel sits on the top of my main Christmas tree that’s in the sitting room.

Anything my kids made me when they were young are my favorites. Some got lost along the way so the ones left are all the more precious.

I love Christmas and thought of doing the A to Z on this as well. I love angels and have quite a few on my tree that my mom made to place inside her Faberge inspired eggs. They are mainly chicken eggs cut out and angels she made, in miniature, placed in. I also have her crèche angels, that were on her tree, hanging from the ceiling.
I have an Angel as well. Nothing else.

We always had an angel on the top growing up. Mum was going to throw it out – it’s 60 years old. I had to keep it even tho I don’t really have a way to use it on the tree. I just hung it around the house….
Definitely couldn’t throw her away after that long!
