Well 2026 is here and everyone is making resolutions and hopefully setting some big goals for the new year. I don’t make resolutions because I never stick to them, but I do like to choose a word of the year. This year, I have chosen a short phrase instead: back to basics.
In recent years, I have gotten off track with my blog and social media and this year, I intend to get back into the swing of it. I will be posting regularly here and across my socials, and to make it a bit more interesting (and yes, by that I mean terrifying), I have decided to take the plunge and finally start using TikTok. I am new and clueless so this definitely feels like it fits with going back to basics. I will be posting writing based content, tips, behind the scenes etc and I will be answering questions on any part of the writing process or anything ghost writing related.
