Going through something very similar right now. I am too much the same when it comes to doing crazy stuff to live the dreams.

  2. Debbie, this is a fabulous quote. Sometimes we have to be the one to stand tall, lean into the wind and slowly drag ourselves out of the storm of negativity to see our bright future. If we don’t do it who else will?

This year I am laying out the plot of a new historical fiction novel over my 26 A to Z posts. I’d love to have you stop by.

The Steel Horse Saviors is a story about three civil war veterans who head west in 1866 with their Steam Locomotive to seek their fortune. They encounter a beautiful redhead trying desperately to save her family business that threatens to complicate their plan to escape their past.

  3. I love that quote and when I look back on some of the crazy things I’ve done, I’ve lived a lot by it! I’m looking forward to making a trip to Scotland again this summer–I haven’t really been in the North of England except York and the train from Edinburgh to London.

You have to be part crazy and incredibly persistent to succeed. Maybe that level of persistence is what requires the crazy. Cool quote.

Love this. I think it’s crazy that our culture is one that says you generally have to go to work long hours at something you don’t love to get money to buy things that will make you feel better about not loving your life…and repeat! #AnythingGoes

Thank you Debbie- this is so true! I’m contemplating making some changes but having the confidence to do it and work longer and harder in the short term is putting doubts in my mind (I’ve been thinking since Christmas could’ve nailed it by now had I not been procrastinating so long!) time to bite the bullet and make decisions I think… #anythinggoes
