This is great – nice practical tips. I remember once sitting in a car before an interview that I had turned up far to early for and was very nervous. But as I sat there, I watched a little bird hopping along, pecking at something, and thought to myself that he’ll still be there when I come out. Interviews can be important but they don’t stop the world from turning. I will certainly be looking at your elevator pitch tips, they may come in handy.

Thank you do much for writing this. I just had an awful interview tonight. I was so nervous, got myself into a right state and found it really difficult to answer the questions I was so stressed. I know I need to just relax and be confident but it’s hard when you’re a naturally shy person. Will be back to your blog tomorrow for some more advice xx #BloggerClubUK

    • It is hard, especially if you are shy. There’s nothing wrong with being a bit nervous as long as you don’t let it overwhelm you. Just breathe and take a moment to organise your thoughts. I hope this has helped you for the next interview 🙂 x

  3. Fantastic tips! I’m actually one of those odd people who quite enjoy interviews. They are nervewracking for sure but also exciting, as like you say, it’s an opportunity for you to learn about them and their company too 😀 #brillblogposts

  4. This is such an informative post and should be circulated around all the universities. Great resource. Thankfully I’ve never had to be part of a group interview!! Thank you for joining us at #BloggerClubUK hope to see you again next week X
