They would be ideal in your situation, a lovely way to let family know you are thinking of them on their special days 🙂

I loved it Angela, it was so good! Yes, I love the tin too, I’m thinking probably biscuits will live in it now. The cracker was a lovely little touch 🙂

  1. You can’t beat a slice of cake can you? I’ve ordered from Baker Days before and I have to say I was really surprised with the quality of the cake. It was really moist and did not get damaged in the time. I also like that you can use the tin for something else when you are finished with the cake

Love a bit of cake with a cuppa 🙂 I was really pleased with the quality, I would definitely order from here, and yes, I love the little tin 🙂

I love the idea of a cake appearing through the letter box. It looks really pretty too and I can imagine it tasted good.

I know, I was shocked at how quickly it comes! It’s really good value for money, especially when you consider the speed of the service x

They are delicious aren’t they! I really liked the novelty of them being posted too 🙂 Thanks for hosting.

I love cakes anyway but I do love baker days cakes. there is something special about getting a cake posted through your letterbox yum.

  4. What a brilliant idea this is! I love fruit cakes personally, but they take so long to make and cost so much once you’ve bought all of the ingredients! I love that there are so many designs to choose from and you can personalise it – I will definitely check this site out. Thanks so much for linking up with #KCACOLS. Hope to see you again this Sunday x

I think it works out cheaper to buy a fruit cake than to make one if you want it generously filled with fruit. You won’t be disappointed! Thanks for hosting, see you there 🙂 x

Lol sorry 🙂 There were so many designs, I was like a kid in a sweet shop choosing one! Yes it would be so nice to receive a cake through the post as a gift!

    • Debbie, My Random Musings

Really Katy, that must have been quite disappointing then, icing without enough cake is kind of sickly! Thank you 🙂 x

I love the tin and the little cracker was a lovely touch. They really were a pleasure to work with and their cake was delicious too. Thank you 🙂 x

Love that design! Love that they do non fruit cakes too, as I love icing (& marzipan) but I hate fruit cake. I have to hope for people who like fruit cake but hate icing to give me their icing at Christmas! #christmascorner

    • Debbie, My Random Musings

Oh that is me too, hoping someone won’t want their icing haha! I love that I’ve found a company who do non fruit cakes but still really Christmassy 🙂

I’ve been hearing a lot about these letterbox cakes, they are definitely perfect for a gift. It’s good to know the icing isn’t too overpowering as I find on a lot of cakes I get bored because the icing is just too much! #XmasCorner
