I can't say Benidorm is somewhere I had ever considered going to before, but you do a pretty good job of selling it! At the moment we're tending to just do UK holidays, but maybe when T is a few years this would be somewhere to look at. It does make sense for hotel entertainment to be terrible- I guess it's better for them if you go out instead when it's all-inclusive!

    • I think a lot of people are put off because of its party reputation, but that's only one side to it. Every time I've been, there's been a lot of families there too and the kids all seemed to be having a brilliant time. It's pretty cheap too for anyone on a budget. 🙂

  2. I have always been put off Benidorm for exactly the reason you mention, but your post does make me want to have a look into it. Although, I think I will probably wait until my girls are a little older.
Thanks for sharing on #SummerDays – hope to see you next week!

    • Honestly, there is a lot more to it than people expect. There's lots of bars on the sea front that are a lot quieter for nights out if the clubs aren't your scene or you have younger children 🙂 Thanks for hosting, I'll be there!

  3. I've never considered Benidorm for a holiday, mainly for the reasons you mentioned at the start. Maybe I should look into it more as it seems pretty family friendly from what you have said. Thanks for doing a travel post – the weather has been miserable this summer in Scotland so I need all the sunshine escapism I can get!

    • Whenever I go there are always loads of families there, and all the kids seem to be having a fab time 🙂 I know exactly what you mean about the weather – I'm in North East England, so we get pretty similar here to you.

Your right, I've always imagined Benidorm to be purely a party destination. It's nice to know that there is another side to it too. Thanks for linking such an informative post to #summerdays xxx

I visited Benidorm years and years ago so don't remember much apart from the lovely beach, it was golden and looked so inviting. I would consider visiting again perhaps out of season that might be quit nice. Thanks for linking up to the #bestandworst 🙂 x

This sounds like a lovely place to stay! John and I would love to go somewhere sunny- maybe once I get my health right in a few years we could go!

It looks so beautiful. I always put Benidorm down to being just for lads holidays. It's so great to see it in a new light. I can't believe how much there is to do! Thank you so much for linking up with #whatevertheweather x

I have to say I had never thought of Benidorm as more than a place for nights out.
They're are so many fantastic places to visit in your list, I love aqua parks and theme parks, my boys are too small for most things there though. I'm sure it will be great when they're bigger. They would love to see all the animals and play on the beach, great that they clean it so often!
Thanks for linking up to #Whatevertheweather. 🙂 x
